Hardscaping & Pavers

Paver Patios, Walkways & Fire Pits Built to Last

Custom paver patios, walkways, pool decks, front steps and fire pits across Monmouth County and NJ — built on a proper compacted base so they stay flat and tight for decades. Licensed, insured, one crew for the whole project.

Why Pavers

An Outdoor Room You Will Actually Use

A well-built paver patio turns an unused backyard into the best room in the house — a place for dinners, fire-pit nights, and summers by the pool. We design and install patios, walkways, pool decks, and front entrances using premium concrete and natural-stone pavers.

The look sells it, but the base is what lasts. Every IAC install starts with real excavation, a deep compacted gravel base, edge restraint, and polymeric sand — the steps cut-rate crews skip. That is why our patios stay flat and tight while cheaper ones sink and heave.

FAQ

Paver Patio Questions

How much does a paver patio cost in NJ?
Installed paver patios in Monmouth County generally start around $27 per square foot and go up from there depending on whether we have to demolish and remove what is there now, the paver and pattern you choose, and add-ons like a fire pit, seating wall, or LED lighting. We give you an exact price after a free in-home measure — no surprises.
How long does a paver patio take to build?
A typical 300-400 sq ft patio takes about 3 to 6 working days. Most of that time is the part you never see — excavation and a properly compacted gravel base, which is what keeps pavers from sinking or heaving.
Will the pavers shift, sink, or grow weeds?
Not when they are installed right. We build on a deep compacted base, lock the perimeter with edge restraint, and sweep in polymeric sand that hardens to resist weeds and washout. That base work is the difference between a patio that lasts 20+ years and one that fails in two.
Do I need a permit for a paver patio or walkway?
Ground-level walkways usually do not, but larger patios, raised patios, and anything near a property line or with a wall often do. We handle the permit and inspection paperwork for you when it is required.
Can you add a fire pit, seating wall, steps, or lighting?
Yes — we integrate fire pits, curved seating walls, front steps, pool-deck coping, and low-voltage LED step lighting during the build. Because IAC is a full home improvement company, the same crew can also handle drainage, grading, and any related masonry or carpentry.
