Concrete & Flatwork

Concrete Driveways, Walkways & Stamped Concrete

Concrete driveways, walkways, patios, steps and stamped decorative concrete across Monmouth County and NJ — poured on a proper base with control joints and real curing, by a licensed, insured crew that handles the whole project.

Why IAC Concrete

Flatwork That Stays Flat

A driveway or patio is one of the biggest concrete surfaces on your property, and it either lasts 25+ years or starts cracking and sinking in two. The difference is almost never the concrete itself — it is the base, the reinforcement, the joints, and the curing underneath a good finish.

We pour driveways, walkways, patios, steps, and garage and basement floors, in plain broom finish or stamped and colored decorative concrete. Every job gets a compacted base, rebar or mesh where it counts, and control joints cut at the right spacing so it ages gracefully.

FAQ

Concrete Questions

How much does a concrete driveway or patio cost in NJ?
Plain broom-finish concrete is the most budget-friendly; stamped and decorative concrete costs more because of the forms, color, and hand-work. Price depends on square footage, slab thickness, rebar or mesh, the finish you want, and whether we have to remove old concrete first. We measure and give you an exact, itemized quote for free.
How long before I can use new concrete?
You can usually walk on it in 24 to 48 hours. We recommend waiting about 7 days before heavy foot traffic and around 28 days before parking vehicles on a new driveway, which is when concrete reaches most of its strength.
Does concrete crack, and how do you prevent it?
All concrete can crack as it cures and moves. We control it with a proper compacted base, the right thickness, rebar or wire mesh, and control joints cut at the correct spacing so any cracking follows the joint line instead of the surface. Proper curing matters just as much as the pour.
What is stamped concrete?
Stamped concrete is poured concrete that is colored and imprinted with textured mats to mimic stone, brick, slate, or wood plank. It gives a high-end paver or stone look at a lower cost, with one continuous surface and less maintenance.
Can you tear out and replace my old driveway?
Yes. We handle demolition and haul-away of the old slab, re-grade and compact the base, and pour the new concrete. Because IAC is a full home improvement company, the same crew can also tie in pavers, steps, drainage, or masonry around it.
