How much does hardwood refinishing cost?
Most refinishing projects range from $3.50 to $5.00 per square foot depending on size, finish type, and stain selection. Use our calculator for a ballpark or request a free on-site estimate.
Are estimates really free?
Yes, 100% free with no obligation. We visit your home, measure, discuss options, and provide a written estimate. You're under no pressure to book.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we partner with financing companies that offer flexible payment plans for larger projects. Ask about options during your estimate visit.
Is the cost in the calculator final?
No, the calculator provides a ballpark range based on average pricing. The final quote is determined after an on-site visit where we can measure precisely and discuss specific requirements.
Our Process
How long does a typical project take?
Most floor refinishing projects take 2-4 days. Vinyl/laminate installations are usually 1-3 days per room. Kitchen and bathroom remodels range from 2-6 weeks depending on scope.
Do I need to move out during the work?
For flooring projects, most clients stay home. We seal off work areas and use low-VOC finishes. For full kitchen/bath remodels, you can usually stay if needed, though some clients prefer to be away during peak work days.
What about furniture?
We can move furniture for an additional fee, or you can move it yourself before we arrive. We'll discuss options during the estimate.
When can you start?
Depending on the season, we typically can start within 2-4 weeks of signing. Spring and fall are our busiest seasons. Call for current availability.
Materials & Brands
What brands do you work with?
We work with all major flooring brands and source from authorized suppliers. We can also source specialty materials on request.
Can I bring my own materials?
Absolutely, though we recommend our supply network for best pricing and warranty coverage. If you supply materials, we won't warranty defects in the product itself, only our installation.
How do I choose a stain color?

Warranty & Guarantees
What's your workmanship warranty?
We provide a 1 year warranty on workmanship. Materials carry the manufacturer's warranty (typically 25-50 years for hardwood, 15-25 for vinyl).
What does the warranty cover?
Our warranty covers installation defects: gaps, lifting, finish failures from improper application, etc. It doesn't cover damage from water, accidents, or normal wear.

Do you charge for travel?
No travel charges for projects within our standard service area. For locations beyond our usual radius, we may add a small travel fee discussed upfront.
